#17: Le Palais, Beverly Hills: 44,925 sq ft
The palatial chateau-style mansion, Le Palais, was designed by developer Mohamed Hadid, father to supermodels Bella and Gigi. The grounds surrounding the limestone property feature olive trees, fountains, four rose gardens and a pond that’s home to a flock of swans.
The sleek indoor kitchen boasts pro-level appliances, a separate butler’s pantry, and a seating area huddled around a fireplace. There’s also an outdoor kitchen along with a commercial addition for larger events. The catering kitchen sits on a lower level alongside the ballroom, which is fit to accommodate up to 200 party-going guests.
There are seven bedrooms, with the master suite hosting two of the house’s 11 bathrooms. A secret staircase leads to a rooftop garden from one bathroom. Downstairs treatment rooms open out onto the gardens with an indoor gym just next door.
Outdoor cabanas surround a 60-foot infinity swimming pool. Indoors you’ll find an additional pool decorated in ornate blue tiles, with a Turkish hammam, Moroccan lounge, and steam room. The house also hides a wine cellar for 5,000 bottles in the basement.
